I find my inspiration in the antique silver myrtle crowns of the 18th and 19th centuries. These were rigid pieces that, historically, did not belong to the bride, but were lent by parishes for the ceremony. At Mahegohe, I reclaim that aesthetic while changing what matters most: my crowns are crafted to be lightweight and comfortable, adapting perfectly to you. Each piece is entirely handmade with cold porcelain flowers and leaves, mounted on a wire base wrapped in silk thread. The advantage of this headpiece over the original metal versions is its great flexibility and minimal weight. It measures approximately 37 cm (14.56 in) and weighs only 17 g.
